Auditions:
Auditions will be held at Penfield School on Monday, January 30 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. There are parts available for approximately 50 students from kindergarten to grade 12.

Students should arrive at 3:25 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two-hour audition. Some selected students will be asked to stay to rehearse the evening of January 30. All students must be prepared to attend rehearsals throughout the week at various times after school and in the early evening each day, as well as both performances. Please consider your schedules before trying out for a part. All rehearsals, except Friday night, will be held at Penfield Elementary School.

Among the roles to be cast are the Pied Piper, Sara, the Mayor’s son and daughter, the Mayor’s council, cooks, townkids and the troublesome rates. Assistant directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities. No advance preparation is necessary, but a smile and a positive attitude always helps.
