INfilm’s Glenn Wong Passes Away Suddenly

Members of the Board of Island North Film Commission learned today of the tragic and unexpected death of our colleague and fellow board member, Glenn Wong. Glenn has been a stalwart member and supporter of the film commission and its mission of economic development on the North Island through film. His voice and encouragement as the Chair of the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District was instrumental in bringing many successful productions to his region and in so doing, highlighting the wonderful locations for film on Vancouver Island to the rest of the world.

Glenn?s sage inputs and contributions to INfilm as well as his always-cheerful outlook will be sorely missed. Film Commissioner staff and Director?s wish to extend our sincere condolences to Glenn?s family and to the Alberni Clayoquot Regional District for their loss.
