Dear Neighbours of Duke Point Highway;
Please take a moment to read this notice about the filming of a TV commercial on Tuesday September 25th from dawn to dusk. Means of Production would like to provide some information that will help you prepare for our arrival and anticipate how our presence may affect your daily routine.
Our scene will take place on Duke Point Highway starting from Maughan Road south to Trans Canada Highway #1. Our scene involves a car traveling through traffic where we will be filming our scene from a helicopter and also from the ground.
To help facilitate our filming requirements, The Ministry of Transportation has granted Means of Production the following: 1) Full road closure - for 30 minutes between sailings during non peak times.
- peak times are 30 minutes prior to ship departing and arriving ferry traffic. 2) 30 minutes prior to ship departing - highway would be completely open 3) all other times - 5 minute lockup’s in our immediate filming area only.
During our filming we will have a traffic control company assisting with our traffic diversion.
We emphasize that changes are temporary and appreciate your cooperation in using an alternative route during this time. We will ensure any residents with special needs are accommodated promptly. Should you require access within the restricted area, please contact me at the number below.
